Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Toolkit: Guide and Overview
Despite some progress, the potential of women, people with disabilities, and other excluded groups in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) remains unrealised, especially in energy access and poverty reduction programmes. This Toolkit has been developed to support organisations in taking a Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) lens to their work within the Transforming Energy Access (TEA) platform and beyond. It supports TEA's aim of supporting a just and inclsuive energy transition that leaves no one behind.
While designed for TEA Delivery Partners, its tools, templates, and training materials may also be valuable to other organisations working across the energy access sector.
The updated version of this toolkit was developed by Value for Women on behalf of the TEA platform, with key insights from the Global Disability Innovation Hub and the Carbon Trust.
