Bernice supports the delivery of select projects across Value for Women's technical practice areas through research, project management, client relationship management and internal coordination.

She brings over five years of experience working with tech-enabled businesses across Africa and entrepreneur support organizations such as Village Capital, Merck and iHub. She credits her experience establishing and operating her own business as the source of her enthusiasm for assisting others in navigating the entrepreneurial landscape. In November 2021, she pivoted into gender-focused work, driven by a deep commitment to advancing gender equality and women's empowerment within entrepreneurship and investment.

Bernice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management & Logistics from the University of Botswana and has received certifications from Harvard Business School Online and Amani Institute.

She is also a DJ, aspiring music producer and co-founder of an event series dedicated to increasing visibility for underrepresented DJs and musicians in Kenya.
