Devon Tighe

Devon consults investors, financial intermediaries, and investee enterprises on strategies that promote gender inclusion and women’s empowerment. In her work, Devon focuses on delivering research, tools, and capacity building that are practical and actionable for organizations that are ready to unlock opportunities through gender-lens investment and business management.

Devon’s background in gender-lens investing includes work with field builders Criterion Institute and GenderSmart. Prior to this she served on the executive team of a Cape Town-based social enterprise during its Series A growth stage and advised start-ups in South Africa and the US leveraging data and technology for social good. Devon transitioned to the social enterprise after spending 15 years in the corporate sector, where she held various leadership roles in the US and Sub-Saharan Africa focused on data strategy, customer analytics, and growth. She holds a degree in Computer Science, with a concentration in Cognitive Science, from the University of Pennsylvania, United States.
