Katie Alesbury
Katie brings over a decade of experience driving inclusive impact as a social entrepreneur and strategic advisor to major global organizations.
Prior to Value for Women, Katie was a consultant at Dalberg, where she advised organizations such as CIFF and Wellcome Trust on strategy and programme design, implementation and resourcing. At the Economic Policy Research Institute, she led a team strengthening national social protection systems for WFP, UNICEF and various LMIC governments.
Katie founded and for seven years co-directed an NGO addressing food waste and food insecurity in Nicaragua, which has re-distributed over 1 million meals and strengthened food security and nutrition for over 300 women in low-income communities.
Katie is based in London, fluent in English and Spanish, and holds a Master of Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
