Shoshana Grossman-Crist
Shoshana oversees product conceptualization and technical writing for Value for Women publications, ranging from research and evaluation reports to case studies and podcasts. Publications include: Sistema.Bio: Gender Impact Investor Report (Sistema Bio); Evaluation Report: Building the Capacity for Small and Growing Businesses to Improve the Climate Resilience of Women Farmers (Root Capital); Pathways for Success: Women’s Entrepreneurship in Southeast Asia report and podcast series (Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs); and Policy Landscaping to Advance a Transparent Implementation of the Women's Empowerment Principles in ASEAN (UN Women).
Shoshana brings over 15 years of international development experience in both leadership and field positions across sectors, notably with the Inter-American Development Bank, Danone, Chemonics, TechnoServe and local non-governmental organizations. This work has encompassed integrating gender transversally and managing gender portfolios, and includes extensive experience designing and launching communications, fundraising and knowledge management strategies. She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in Public Health.
