Trina Roy

Trina drives project delivery and planning for various projects related to applied research and technical assistance for investors and enterprises.

Trina brings almost a decade of rich experience in gender inclusion and public policy. She has specialization in domains including women’s economic empowerment, including gender finance, gender-lens investing, women entrepreneurship and workforce participation, and has worked on a wide range of projects across India, Myanmar and Kenya. Through these projects, she has advised diverse clients on topics such as designing and conducting gender diagnostics; building business cases for gender-lens investment (in microfinance and impact funds); and facilitating capacity support for women entrepreneurship, among other things.

Prior to joining Value For Women, she worked in advisory services at Intellecap Advisory Services and PRS Legislative Research.
