Beginning his career in Liberia, Varlee leverages extensive experience working across public, private, and multilateral sectors to enhance social services in West Africa. In his current role, Varlee is responsible for identifying strategic partnerships and opportunities that align with organizational growth objectives and strategy. His previous positions with development partners such as Jphiego, FHI360, and URC have contributed to his expertise in securing significant funding through grants and contracts, evidencing his capability in business development and resource mobilization.

Varlee holds a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) from Cuttington University in Liberia and a Master of International Development Practice (MDP) from Columbia University in New York City. His academic background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of public health and international development, supporting his strategic and analytical capabilities in his current role.

Outside of his professional commitments, Varlee has personal interests in sports and cultural exploration, notably in soccer and African cuisines.
